Regional Director, Dar

Danny Aoun is a member of the Boards of Directors of Sidara, Dar, Wood and Penspen, serves on Sidara’s Executive Committee and is Regional Director of Operations at Dar. He brings extensive international leadership experience across design, engineering, and infrastructure delivery, with a strong track record across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.

Danny is recognized for building long‑term client relationships, leading senior‑level engagement with public authorities, and guiding complex organizations through growth and change. His leadership spans operational oversight, strategic growth, market expansion, and the development of high‑performing talent and delivery teams.

As a member of Sidara’s Executive Committee, Danny supports the strategic growth agenda, driving expansion into new global markets and fostering collaboration across the businesses. He plays an active role in linking strategy with execution, supporting greater alignment, integration, and shared ways of working across Sidara. In his operational role at Dar, he is responsible for delivering operational performance, strengthening client relationships, driving business growth, and developing and sustaining leadership, talent, and delivery teams across multiple regions.

Danny is a Chartered Director and holds a Diploma in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors in London, as well as undergraduate and graduate engineering degrees from the Georgia Institute of Technology (USA).
