Talal Shair is Chairman and CEO of Sidara, leading a global group of design, engineering and consulting firms shaping the future of the built environment. Talal has led the evolution of Sidara, building on its origins as Dar Group, into a complex, international organization through decades of growth, scaling capability and delivering resilient, future ready outcomes. His leadership is defined by a focus on collaboration, long term value creation, and aligning business performance with environmental and social responsibility. Talal leads Sidara’s global strategy and growth, guiding Sidara’s evolution across energy, infrastructure, digital and sustainable design. He has driven strategic acquisitions and fostered a shared commitment to sustainability, innovation and responsible business practices across the Group. Over his career, Talal has overseen significant international expansion and organizational transformation, shaping a collaborative partnership model that delivers long term value. He is a graduate of Princeton University and Cornell University and contributes actively to academic and industry institutions, supporting the advancement of design, engineering, and the built environment worldwide.
